Australia - A MAN with a young child in his car fired a sawn-off shotgun at a large group of bikies at a busy shopping strip in Melbourne's east.
The man, who locals say was well known in the area, goaded a large group of the Finks gang at an Oakleigh cafe on Tuesday afternoon.
After a verbal altercation he pulled out a sawn-off shotgun from his car, firing twice in the air and hitting the shop's awning.
He then sped off in what police believe was a 1986 white Holden Calais sedan.
He was with a female passenger and young child.
It is believed the man was called to the area and deliberately targeted the gang of up to 30 bikies, who had stopped at the Eaton St cafe on Tuesday afternoon after attending a nearby funeral.
One witness, who did not want to be named, said the man was screaming at the gang: "This is my territory, the Greeks run Oakleigh."
She said the man had performed a burnout outside the cafe to get the bikies' attention, then started screaming at them.
His female passenger was also hurling abuse at the gang.
No one was hurt in the incident.
Following the shooting the Finks members stayed at the restaurant for more than an hour and even helped reassure frightened shoppers
