Australia - QUEENSLAND police have arrested 15 people, including members of a bikie gang, in a major crackdown on organised crime.
The eight-month police operation targeted a drug crime network allegedly run by the Rebels Outlaw motorcycle gang on the Sunshine Coast.
They also targeted the Rebels' links with other bikie gangs.
Police seized large quantities of amphetamines, methyl amphetamines, ecstasy, cannabis, and money during searches of 23 bikie gang members' homes across Queensland.
Fifteen people have been charged with 41 drug offences, including five people charged with drug trafficking, production of dangerous drugs and firearm offences.
Sunshine Coast Crime Services Detective Inspector Dave Drinnen said the arrests will have a significant impact on the supply of dangerous drugs in the region.
"Specifically, operation Kilo Deacon saw the Rebels, Black Uhlans and Outlaws working together in an organised network," he said.
