There are some things that civilians can legally do that service members just can’t. Add another item to that list. 

The military’s highest court ruled that making sex tapes is tantamount to having sex in public and is therefore punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice as service discrediting.

An Army major serving in Afghanistan has set a pending world record for skipping rope.

Maj. Leticia Walpole was a whirling dervish, knocking out 12,405 revolutions in 60 minutes.

The achievement now awaits confirmation by Guinness World Records.

The Pentagon has appointed its first woman to command U.S. Naval Forces Korea.

Capt. Lisa M. Franchetti will take over the command probably some time this fall.

Just in time for summer, more than 1,800 museums nationwide are offering free admission to troops and their families now through Labor Day.
