REHAB! Jones Popped For Cocaine By Nevada State Commission

Jones

UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon “Bones” Jones tested positive for cocaine following a random drug screening done by the NSAC on Dec. 3, 2014.

As a result Jones has entered into drug rehab.

UFC officials have released the following statement.

We support UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ decision to enter a drug treatment facility to address his recent issue. While we are disappointed in the failed test, we applaud him for making this decision to enter a drug treatment facility. Jon is a strong, courageous fighter inside the octagon, and we expect him to fight this issue with the same poise and diligence. We commend him on his decision, and look forward to him emerging from this program a better man as a result.

UFC President Dana White also addressed the situation:

“I am proud of Jon Jones for making the decision to enter a drug treatment facility. I’m confident that he’ll emerge from this program like the champion he truly is.”

“I am aware of Jon’s test, and if there is anything to say it is this: there are a lot of people you impact, so please let’s get it together. Good luck on your rehab!”

The Jon Jones You See On TV Is Fake, Says Evans

[IOljXvgsl1]
[Jon Jones is]A lot different than a lot of people think. Jon Jones has a persona that he does for TV and when you get to know Jon Jones personally he’s nothing like he is on TV. He is kind of fake. That’s the only way to put it is that he is just fake. I don’t want to say anything too much but I’m just trying to say he’s fake, he’s not real. But that’s something he is going to have to deal with himself. You can be fake all you want to but the only person you are hurting is yourself.”

“Suga” Rashad Evans recently too to UFC Tonight to talk about a multitude of topics, one of which was his thoughts on his UFC 145 opponent and UFC 205 champ, Jon Jones.

It is safe to assume that many public figures check their real personalities at the door when put on camera and it’s no secret that Evans despises his former teammate. But does Jones go over the top when trying to sell himself or is this just the latest jab Evans is throwing at the champ?

Thoughts?
