Nice fuckin' round Indica leaves on the Purple Urkle. Beautiful!!!

The Big Bud will give a high yield but the Purple Urkle will be better.

I guess what I`m trying to say is..look at them branches, they are few are far between. Some branches only have 5 leaves and are 6-8 inches long. Finally some other leaves are starting to sprout at the "V"

*The plants are on the porch because we had some serious rain.

Serious rain? Are you in Nor Cal by any chance?

My buddy is going to check out your photos and answer your question ASAP.

He has been growing for a long while now and will know if it's a problem or not.

Indica plants have a heavy, stony high that is relaxing and can help different medical problems. The indica highs are most often described as a pleasant body buzz. Indica's are great for relaxation, stress relief, and for an overall sense of calm and serenity. marijuana indica's are also very effective for overall body pain relief, and often used in the treatment of insomnia. They are the late - evening choice of many smokers as an all - night sleep aid. A few pure indica varieties are very potent in THC, and will cause the "couch lock" effect, enabling the smoker to simply sit still and enjoy the experience of the smoke.

Sativa plants have an energetic, cerebral high which can stimulate brain activity and may produce hallucinations. The sativa high is often characterized as uplifting and energetic . The effects of a sativa marijuana are mostly cerebral. They give a feeling of optimism and well - being, as well as providing a good measure of pain relief for certain symptoms. A few pure sativa's are also very high in THC content. They are known to have a quite spacey, or hallucinogenic, effect. Sativa's are a good choice for daytime smoking.

Crossbred marijuana seed varieties have a combination of both Indica and Sativa highs which are relative to strain ratio. A hybrid marijuana seed strain can have for example an energetic, cerebral sativa high combined with a pleasant indica body buzz.

My friend said your plant is fine. You have a lot of tops and you will yield some nice weight at harvest. He recommends that you plant them in the ground or a bigger pot. Transplant at night only. Hope this helps.

So hey!

Can a person actually let their plants grow too long?

I say this because the plants have some solid buds, but looks like some seeds might be coming in.

Yeah bro, it will get to the point where the THC will be at its highest point. If you let it grow any longer than that point, the THC level will start to drop. You want the top of your buds to get little claws and then you gotta cut them ASAP after that.

The seeds probably came in because somehow a male plant was in the vicinity. It could be one of your neighbors.

OK, cool!!! Yeah, it was probably pollen in the wind from a neighbors house or maybe even a wild male plant.

A couple of seeds are not so bad as long as it is here and there.

Yeah the plants definately turned hermaphrodite. What should we do?

Will the plants lose all of their potency by letting them grow until October/November?

Looking ok to me. The stems look healthy but the leaves are not looking so great. Perhaps you have some sort of deficiency?

Yellowing of young leaves

Suspected element

Iron [Fe]

Symptoms: Marijuana leaves on growing shoots turn pale and veins remain dark green. pH imbalances make iron insoluble.

Solution: Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Iron [Fe] or rusty water.

Manganese [Mn]

Symptoms: Necrotic and yellow spots form on top marijuana leaves. Magnese [Mn] deficiency occurs when large amounts of Magnesium [Mg] are present in the soil.

Solution: Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Magnese [Mn].

Pottasium [K]

Symptoms: Affected marijuana plants are usually tallest and appear to be most vigorous. Necrotic spots form on lower marijuana leaves. Red stems. Leaves appear pale or yellow.

Solution: Add chemical fertilizer containing Potassium [K].

Ok, so you are obviously not going to drink that.

I am assuming you will soak it onto some sort of cloth and put it on a wound or something?

It is better to use 100% Indica for pain relief and it looks like you have at least one sativa plant. You can tell by the long skinny leaves. But another photo show a plant with Indica leaves.

If you will not smoke it nor eat it..then you do not need to be as picky

Yes,the concoction is to be applied with cotton. It`s works damn good after about a month in the dark for people who suffer with chronic pain (my partner)

The plants were bought at a dispensary at a young age and are a hybrid of Purple Urkel & Big Bud (the only choice they had) I removed the huge shade leaves long ago before these pictures were taken.

Sure,

We found out about it from my girlfriends mother who also suffered with chronic pain.To be honest..we don`t know what ratio`s of each ingredient are.We just mixed in the highest % alcohol that you can find, and mix in all the leaves (including marijuana stems & all) & the camphor. The camphor is some stinky shit & is alot like vaseline in texture.

Let it set for around 30 days in dark place. The medicine will work before 30 days, but it`s just that it gets stronger or works better over time.

*Just to let you know...the Ruda plants or Ruta leaves (however it`s spelled) are hard to come by.We got ours at a swap meet from a Mexican gentleman.

Hmmm, my friends and I will look more into this. Does it kill the pain 100%? Also, for how long?

Andy,

Right away I must tell you, that I forgot one more ingredient, and that is the mint leaves. As far as killing the pain 100%,that varies from person to person. At times, some batches that were made, killed the pain for 6-8 hours. But,remember, you are only using a little bit at a time, and can re-apply what`s left in the cotton until it dries.

I would strongly advise against people that don`t have a medical card.We are using alot of product that could be sold or smoked, but that`s not our intent. It`s a good alternative to vicodin or other pain relieving addictions.

We have a new member named J-35. Here is what he wrote:

I have a chronic illness that causes intractable pain.  I am often hospitalized, where I am given I.V. dilaudid and Oxycontin tablets.  It's actually a very nice experience, being injected with significant doses of medical grade opiate (my average dose is 2mg dilaudid every four hours..  Some of the younger nurses will push the plunger very fast while injecting the dilaudid into my I.V. line, causing a sudden and dramatic high.  A feeling of well being, euphoria and warmth come over me instantly and it lasts a long time.  I can see how some people become addicts.  However it is very tricky to properly manage my pain once I leave the hospital.  They usually release me with a month's worth of narcotic pain medication.  It doesn't take much to catch a habit on that stuff.  I am always looking for another way to manage my pain, fearing I could wind up an addict or dead.

Perhaps he can benefit from your concoction!!!

Is this a Mexican recipe by any chance?

I have heard of variations of this for sure --- the Chinese use something
similar as does virtually all Central and South Americans. My Chilean ex-girlfriend asked for some leaves for her Grandma!!! Grandma would use it for her arthritis. My bro working with project CBD makes a version with the CBD extract that is supposed to be off the hook effective.
